The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) plays a key role in the process of assisting commands in preparing service members and their families for each phase of the deployment cycle, from pre-deployment to return and reunion with classes, briefs, workshops and counseling. FFSC staff also supports to activated reservists and their family members to meet their mobilization.
- FFSC Newport staff members are ready to assist command leadership to prepare single and married military personnel and their families for each phase of a traditional or Individual Augmentee (IA) deployment - before, during, and reunion and homecoming.
- All local area command personnel are requested to check in/out with FFSC Newport before and after an IA deployment to ensure they are aware of all resources and services that are available to them and their family members.
- We have workshops and programs tailored to fit your command needs.
