Lieutenant Commander Greenlund, a native of Davenport, Iowa, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa in 2008. She was commissioned as a Supply Corps Officer in 2009.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Salve Regina University and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University. Her certifications include Joint Professional Military Education Phase I, Professional Human Resources Certification, Master Training Specialist, and DAWIA Level I Business Financial Management.
Her first sea tour was aboard the USS HARPERS FERRY (LSD-49) and after a hull swap, the USS GERMANTOWN (LSD-42) in Sasebo, Japan. She was the Disbursing Officer, Retail Operations Officer, and Helicopter Control Officer. Her second tour was at the Navy Supply Corps School as a Disbursing Management Instructor and her third tour was at Naval Reactors as a Congressional Liaison and Budget Analyst.
In 2018, she was selected for lateral transfer to the Human Resources community and reported to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory as the Manpower/Administrative Officer.
Her awards include three Navy Commendation Medals and two National Achievement Medals.
