Petty Officer First Class Amanda M. Mervine is a native of Akron, OH. She joined the Navy in 2012 and attended Recruit Training in Great Lakes, IL. Following Master-at-Arms “A” School in San Antonio, TX, she was assigned to Naval Security Force Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
In October 2015, she reported to Naval Security Forces Bahrain, where she served as Armory Supervisor. In November 2016, she transferred to Naval Security Force Sigonella, where she served as Security Watch Commander and Security Trainer.
MA1 Mervine’s personal awards include two Navy Achievement Medals and a Flag Letter of Commendation.
In August 2019, MA1 Mervine transferred to Naval Support Activity Saratoga Springs, NY, where she serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader.
