NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND, Washington (NNS) -- The “Zappers” of Electronic
Attack Squadron (VAQ) 130 are returning to Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey
Island after completing a seven-month deployment to support Operation Inherent
Resolve, Dec. 30.
NAVAL AIR STATION WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. – Aircraft carrier-based flight training for
aircraft stationed at NAS Whidbey Island is scheduled to occur at Ault Field from
Monday through Friday, Jan. 2-6, 2017. No Field Carrier Landing Practice (FCLP)
operations are scheduled to occur at the Outlying Field (OLF) in Coupeville,
Wash.

Station (NAS) Whidbey Island conducted a Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) on
Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, from Orcas Island Airport to Providence Regional Medical
Center in Everett, WA.
OAK HARBOR, Wash—Fleet Readiness Center Northwest hosted a special
frocking ceremony for Petty Officer 2nd Class Kathryn Allard so that her
grandfather, James Mulcahy, could pin on her new chevrons.
