U.S. Air Force General Paul J. Selva, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visits NAS Whidbey Island

OAK HARBOR, WA. - Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island's Commanding Officer, Capt. Geoff Moore, welcomes U.S. Air Force General Paul J. Selva, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to the base on Sept. 22, 2016. Capt. Scott T. Farr, Commander, Electronic Attack Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet; and Capt. Robert W. Patrick Jr., Deputy Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing 10 joined Moore in greeting the Vice Chairman during his arrival. General Selva visited with Sailors and base leaders to better understand the capabilities within the wings and the challenges the installation faces as two platforms transition. He also was briefed on the capabilities of the EP-3 Aries, the P-3 Orion and the EA-18G Growler.
