Housing for Unaccompanied Personnel

Unaccompanied personnel reporting to Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi have a number of excellent on-base housing choices.

Unaccompanied housing (UH) is conveniently located on Ocean Drive just a short walk away from the Navy Exchange (NEX), commissary, McDonalds and the Flight Deck Deli.

The UH at building 1281 has 196 single occupancy rooms to house Service Members, providing permanent party billeting for eligible unaccompanied personnel based on pay grade and square footage.  The front desk serves as the check-in and is manned 24 hours a day.  Linens are provided at check-in.

As an added convenience to residents, also located at building 1281 is the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS) and the Liberty Center which is equipped with televisions, video games, Internet and vending machines.

The Housing Service Center (HSC) stands ready to assist you in determining your eligibility and options and in locating acceptable housing.  Depending on your assignment status (shore duty, sea duty, student, etc.) and pay grade, your options may include Navy UH, dormitories or housing in the local community.
