Transition Goals Plan Success Workshops (TGPS)

The Transition Assistance Program was designed by the Department of Defense in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs to smooth the transition from military service to the civilian workplace. Our programs and services focus on ensuring our men and women serving in the Navy meet the Career Readiness Standards (CRS).

Military members can attend TGPS workshops up to 24 months prior to retirement or 12 months prior to separation. Spouses are invited to attend, but members must inform their command career counselor so the appropriate quota can be reserved. Reservations can be taken up to 180 days in advance for workshops. Contact your Command Career Counselor to arrange a quota to attend a TGPS workshop.
