Ombudsman

Ombudsmen are volunteers and spouses of service members within the command that serve as liaisons between command leadership and command families. They provide routine and emergency information, especially during deployments, to all family members connected to the command. They are trained professionals who know how to direct families to the specific resources they need to resolve issues or questions. They help prepare for and respond to hurricanes and other emergency situations. An ombudsman also acts as an advocate for family members while maintaining the critical element of confidentiality within the program guidelines. They are here to improve the quality of life for each Navy family. You will find your ombudsman professional, friendly and ready to serve.
