Child Development Center (CDC)

The Child Development Center offers child care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Full-time care and drop in care are available. Drop in care has a maximum of 25 hours weekly. Fees are based on total family income. 

"Give Parents a Break" - Child & Youth Programs offer additional child care monthly. These dates could be in the evenings as well as on the weekends. Cost is per child, per hour and each child must be registered along with their shot records. Check the monthly schedule of events for dates and times.

Child Development Homes (CDH)
Military spouses living in government quarters who wish to provide childcare for more than 10 hours per week must be certified as a Navy Child Development Home provider. For information call 305-293-4498.

Teen Open Rec

The Teen Open Rec Program offers a safe place for children 13 to 18 years old (seniors in high school) with an active registration packet on file. Youth 12 years old in 7th grade are eligible for the Teen Open Recreation program. The Youth Center has a half-court gymnasium, game room, and snack bar.  The Teen Center has a music room, lounge, and computer/homework room. Activities are planned using the outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, softball field, and football/soccer field. The centers are affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4H. Field Trips are held monthly during the school year and weekly during the summer.

School Age Care (SAC)

SAC offers child care before and after school at the Youth Center on Sigsbee Park for children K-12. There are holiday, summer and spring camps as well as full time and drop in care. Rates and fees are based on total household income. 

SAC Hourly Care Program: Must be K-12 years old and have an active SAC registration on file. Reservations can be made in person or over the phone. SAC Hourly Care location is the Sigsbee Youth Center. On a regular basis, families may not exceed 10 hours of care per child per week during SAC Before & After School Program. On a regular basis, families may not exceed 25 hours of care per child per week during Summer Camp.
