Child Development Center (CDC)
Located in Bldg. V-4187 on Arthur Sawyer Rd. on Sigsbee Park, the Child Development Center provides a planned program of developmentally-appropriate activities to promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The CDC serves USDA-approved meals. For information call 305-293-4498.

Child Development Homes (CDH)
Military spouses living in government quarters who wish to provide childcare for more than 10 hours per week must be certified as a Navy Child Development Home provider. For information call 305-293-4498.

Youth Center
Located in Bldg. V-4189 on Arthur Sawyer Rd. on Sigsbee Park, the Youth Center is open to children aged Kindergarten (5) -18. The center provides a variety of activities, including dances, sports, tournaments, movies, skating, pool parties, spring and summer school programs, and special events.  All youth must be registered prior to participating in a program or event. The Youth Center is a proud affiliate of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The programs are DoD Certified and accredited by the Council On Accreditation.  For information call 305-293-4437.

Programs offered:

  • Youth Program - ages 10-12
  • Teen Program - ages 13-18
  • Open Recreation Program - ages 10 & up 

The Youth and Teen programs utilize the Boys and Girls Clubs of America core programming areas to develop Youth and Teens skills including: character and leadership, health and life skills, arts, technology, sports/fitness/recreation and career/education.  Please feel free to stop by the Youth Center for our posted monthly schedule of activities, field trips, lock ins and club meetings.

School Age Care (SAC)
NAS Key West School Age Care program is designed to provide quality care through a variety of activities that strive to stimulate and enrich the lives of school age children. The program provides before and after-school care, teacher-in-service full day care, holidays and summer full day camps, and hourly care designed to meet individualized developmental child care needs for children ages Kindergarten to 12 years of age.  Key West School Age Program provides transportation to and from Sigsbee Charter School.  An on base bus stop can be arranged for school age children arriving from schools off base. Call 305-293-4437 for more information.
