NAS Pensacola Access Procedures

Following Department of Defense (DoD) guidance, NAS Pensacola will temporarily adjust the Trusted Traveler Program that allows DoD ID current holders to escort guests onto the installation during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Effective immediately, Naval Security Forces (NSF) will perform 100 percent ID checks of all adults in a vehicle entering the installation. Please ensure all occupants have an acceptable form of ID ready when entering to present to the NSF Sentry. At least one occupant (or driver) must have a current DoD ID that allows them "escort" privileges (CAC, dependent, military retirees, etc.). Defense Biometric Identification System (DBID) cards will still be recognized for access, but cannot sponsor/escort. All other adults must have at least one of the following and remain escorted while aboard the installation:

- Non-CAC Local or Regional DoD Credential issued by the local installation or region

- REAL ID-compliant driver's license, enhanced driver's license, or non-driver's identification card issued by a State, territory, possession, or the District of Columbia

- U.S. or Foreign Passport or Passport Card

- Travel Workers Identification Card (TWIC)

- Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC)

- Federal PIV
