To provide wholesome, nutritious quality meals in a sanitary environment to our patrons at the lowest cost practical throughout the Pensacola Region with trained culinary professionals who value customer service over all else.



NAS PENSACOLA, FLA. --- The Honorable Ray Mabus, Secretary of the Navy, recently announced the winners of the 2010 Captain Edward F. Ney Memorial Food Service Awards, with Naval Air Station Pensacola receiving first place for all shore installations worldwide.
Serving an average of 9000 meals daily, the NAS Pensacola Jet Port Café is the largest free standing dining facility in the Navy. A team of culinary experts evaluated the facility’s overall food service excellence in key areas of customer service, restauranteurship, cleanliness and management for this five-star award.

The Ney Memorial Awards Program is co-sponsored by the Secretary of the Navy and the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA). IFSEA is a nonprofit food service association dedicated to enhancing the professional image and growth of persons serving the food service industry. The awards encourage excel¬lence in Navy food service programs, with the objective of improving the quality of life for our Navy personnel.
Representatives from the air station will join other first place winners and runners-up to receive honors during the Joint Military and Food Service Excellence IFSEA awards ceremony at the annual IFSEA conference on April 17th in Reno, Nevada.
