Housing for Families

Privatized Housing

At NCBC Gulfport we have partnered with Balfour Beatty Communities http://www.ncbcgulfporthomes.com to offer you and your family outstanding housing choices. We have 601 privatized homes in eight neighborhoods: Ladd Circle, Magnolia Place, Magnolia II, Nickel Creek in Slidell, La, Northpointe Preserve, Pinewood, The Woodlands, and Woodlands II. All of the homes are recently constructed or renovated. We have a mixture of single family and townhomes with two, three and four bedrooms. The typical wait for a home is approximately 0 to 6 months; however, it constantly changes and to get the most current projection of housing availability you should contact the HSC.

The Navy manages the application of housing and the waiting list and the privatized partner makes the assignment and is responsible for all property management and meeting all of the resident’s day to day housing needs. Balfour Beatty's website includes contact information, floor plans, and other neighborhood specific information regarding PPV housing on NCBC Gulfport.

Community Housing

Our HSC staff are experts in helping you find housing off-base in the surrounding community. We also provide support for picking the right location in town and ensuring you sign a lease that protects your interests and meets your needs. Navy Housing works with the community surrounding NCBC Gulfport to help Sailors and their families decide if living off-base is the right choice for them. The HSC should be your first stop for all of the resources necessary to find you the right home.

The HSC can also help you with your BAH and Entitlements, as well as introduce you to our Customer Cost Savings & Assistance Programs.

Not only does the NCBC Gulfport HSC keep up to date resources, but we have also cultivated relationships with landlords and property owners. Once you find your new home in the community, the HSC is still here to help you. We can go over your Lease, provide home buying counseling and even perform Landlord/Tenant mediation if ever necessary.
