Family Employment Assistance Program (FERP)

Fleet and Family Support Center offers workshops, self-help and individual assistance to military members and their family members to begin the steps towards finding a rewarding career. Career preparation is a process that requires planning and organization.

Some of the workshops offered include:

  • Effective Resume Writing
  • 10 Steps to a Federal Job
  • Interview Techniques
  • Self Employment

Other Resources include Internet capable computers, printers and local job information.

Volunteering:

The Volunteer Program at FFSC provides an opportunity for you to explore different work environments' and to gain documented work experience. This program also trains you for future employment in the workforce while being of service to the Navy and support Navy activities.
