New Parent Support
The Fleet and Family Support Center's New Parent Support Program provides a knowledgeable, supportive person to educate and answer questions for expectant parents or parents of new babies. Call (228) 871-3000 for more information.
The New Parent Support Home Visitor Program offers supportive and caring services to military families during pregnancy and in the first years of life to help them cope with stress, isolation, deployment, reunion and the everyday demands of parenthood and military life. With a solid foundation of parenting and coping skills, parents are able to provide children with a loving, nurturing, and happy home environment and family unit. The NPS Specialist will work with parents both before and after the birth of their baby to provide one-on-one supportive and educational outreach.
Kids of Deployed Parents
Deployment support classes are periodically offered for children by FFSC.
