The Guantanamo Bay Child and Youth Program offers services to children between the ages of 6 weeks to 18 years. Children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years have the opportunity to participate in our Child Development program, which runs from 0600-1730 Monday-Friday or our Child Development Homes program (hours vary based on needs).
Children between the ages of 5-12 years can participate in the School Age Care Program. Both before/and after-school care are available ,and full-time camps are offered during the summer.
Children between the ages of 13-18 years can enjoy fun and creative activities at our Teen Center (hours vary).
Most families can enter the programs immediately upon completion of paper work. However, it is recommended that parents of children between the ages of 6 weeks - 1 year place children on the GTMO CYP central enrollment waiting list. Parents can place their children on the waiting list by going to the following website: https://qol.persnet.navy.mil/CYPWeb/Web/RFC/RequestForCare.aspx.
