Unaccompanied personnel reporting to NS Mayport have a number of excellent Housing choices.
Unaccompanied Housing is conveniently located near the beach on Baltimore Street allowing immediate access to the main dining facility, chapel, gym, and fitness center. It's just a short walk away from beach access, Navy Exchange, Navy Gateway Inns and Suites, Base Pool, Bowling Alley, Post Office, Navy Federal Credit Union, Taco Bell, Subway and the barber shop.
The UH houses approximately 1,180 service members in 6 buildings: Building 2234 and 2105 provides billeting for single ship to shore eligible unaccompanied personnel while Buildings 1586, 1587, 451 and 337 provides accommodations for personnel in tenant Squadrons and Shore Commands assigned to the station. Accommodations are one or two persons to a room based on pay grade and square footage. Building 2105 MCPON Delbert D. Black Hall serves as the check-in point for all buildings and is manned 24 hours a day. Linen is provided at check-in.
As an added convenience to residents, there are lounges equipped with televisions, video games, Internet and vending machines.
