CDR Mosi, a native of Cheverly, Maryland, enlisted in the United States Navy as an Ocean Systems Technician, Analyst (OTA) in December 1992 under the Delayed Entry Program (DEP). In 2001 he was commissioned through the NROTC program at the University of Florida and in 2010, earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Webster University. Additionally he graduated from the University of Foreign Military & Cultural Studies making him Red Team Member. CDR Mosi received his Wings of Gold in May 2003.
CDR Mosi’s operational tours were served at Patrol Squadron FIVE (VP-5) Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL., USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN 69) Naval Station Norfolk, VA., and Patrol Squadron FOUR SEVEN (VP-47) Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe, HI. His shore tours were served at Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Force Fifth Fleet Det. (CPRF5F) Naval Support Activity Bahrain, BH., Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Leavenworth, KS. and Naval Personnel Command (NPC) Naval Support Activity Mid-South Millington, TN.
CDR Mosi assumed duty as the Executive Officer, Naval Support Activity, Mid-South Millington, TN. in November 2017.
CDR Mosi has deployed five times and participated in several Operations to include Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (2), Navy Achievement Medal (2), the Good Conduct Medal and various campaign, unit and individual awards. He is married with four daughters.
