Duties, Responsibilities and Authority

  • Provide Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) pre-departure assistance, post-arrival settling-in services, relocation counseling, housing information and referral services for all military personnel and family members who are relocating, transitioning, or separating from military services.
  • Maintain the DOD electronic relocation information and referral database and ensures the establishment and continued support of the installation Relocation Assistance Coordinating Committee.
  • Provide a Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) that ensures a comprehensive range of services to separating and retiring service members and their families. Services include pre-separation counseling, outplacement assistance, information and referral services, career and job search assistance, military skills and training verification.
  • Provide Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) that assists family members, as TAMP supports separating and retiring service members, in making career decisions and developing employment search skills through counseling, information, referral, and educational programs.
  • Provide financial education workshops, consumer information, referral assistance, and counseling  
  • Provide prevention Counseling and Life Skills Program promoting family wellness.
  • Maintain a liaison with appropriate military and community agencies to avoid duplication of services and ensure that clients receive assistance of the highest quality.

Registration Information

Register for one or for all workshops. Workshops and seminars are open to active duty and retired military personnel and their family members.
