Command Senior Chief Dwayne M. Gordon, is a native of Kingston, Jamaica and enlisted in the Navy in October 1998. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron One Four Three (VF 143) Virginia Beach, Virginia, as an Airman Apprentice.
He later completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 205) and the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center.
Gordon’s early assignments included tours at Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command; Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center, Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, Africa; Provincial Reconstruction Team Paktika, Afghanistan; Naval Communications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment Rota; USS Antietam (CG 54); USS John S. McCain (DDG 56); United States Southern Command; and USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20).
He currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Advisor on board Naval Support Activity Panama City, located in Panama City, Florida.
Command Senior Chief Gordon’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
He holds qualifications as an Enlisted Information Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist.
