Family Advocacy

The Family Advocacy Program at the Fleet and Family Support Center exists to prevent child abuse and domestic violence in an effort to promote a healthy family lifestyle.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR)

The Navy's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) - formally known as the Sexual Assault Victim Intervention (SAVI) Program - Provides a comprehensive, standardized, victim-sensitive system to prevent and respond to sexual assaults Navy wide.  This is done through sexual assault awareness and prevention education, victim advocacy, and data collection.

 National Organization for Victim Assistance
NOVA's mission is to champion dignity and compassion for those harmed by crime and crisis. Founded in 1975, NOVA is the oldest national victim assistance organization.  NOVA's website provides links to crime victim compensation links and crime victim rights, including addressing financial crimes and emotional trauma.  There is a State Compensation List, from which victims of crime can obtain guidance and information pertinent to their state.

The National Center for Victims of Crime
The National Center for Victims of Crime is a nonprofit organization that advocates for victims' rights, trains professionals who work with victims, and serves as a trusted source of information on victims' issues.

Office for Victims of Crime
This Office of Justice Program has publications on a variety of general crime victim topics, including crime victim services, crime victimization, health, international issues, legal resources, specific populations and victim advocacy, as well as publications specifically addressing sexual violence.

The United States Attorney's Office

This Office of Justice website has a variety of information and resources available to include crime victims compensation, general victim resources and resource links.

Florida Crime Victims' Services
This website provides Victims of crime, information regarding their rights regarding compensation and procedure, including being heard and presence at criminal proceedings.  These rights are laid out in accordance with state guidelines.

Florida Coalition Against Sexual Violence
The Florida Council Against Sexual Violence is a statewide nonprofit organization committed to victims and survivors of sexual violence and the sexual assault crisis programs who serve them.
