Commanding Officer
Captain Douglas M. Peterson grew up in Derwood, Maryland and graduated from Washington College, Chestertown, Maryland, in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. He was commissioned at Officer Candidate School, NAS Pensacola, Florida in March 1997. In September of 1999 he was designated a Naval Aviator and received orders to the Rough Raiders of VFA-125 for replacement pilot training in the F-18A-D Hornet at NAS Lemoore, California.
Executive Officer
Commander Christopher Fisher, a native of Orinda, CA, was commissioned in 2001 through the United States Naval Academy, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering. He was selected for flight training and reported to Pensacola, FL. In 2003, he was designated a Naval Aviator at NAS Kingsville, TX, and thereafter trained with the “Flying Eagles” of Strike Fighter Squadron 122 at NAS Lemoore, CA in the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet.
Command Master Chief
Master Chief Beachy, a native of Grantsville, MD, enlisted in the United States Navy in January 1995. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, for Apprenticeship Training.
