Air Operations

We are responsible for the operation of the airfield, providing services and support to the Naval Air Station, tenant and transitting aircraft. We also provide fire fighting functions - both structural and rescue and conduct shipboard fire fighting training.
Our services include air traffic control, flight scheduling, operation and maintenance of navigational aids, ground approach radar, communications equipment, Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), emergency arresting gear, and optical landing systems. Additionally, we provide search and rescue (SAR) and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) services utilizing fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

  • Administrative Division
  • Air Traffic Control Division - We provide air traffic control at NAS Lemoore and are responsible for the personnel associated with the operation of the Control Tower, Radar, Flight Planning branch, navigational aids, lighting and other visual aids to landing; submit revisions to current instrument procedures as necessary and coordinate air space matters with other agencies.
