Defense Fuel Support Point San Pedro Environmental Assessment. October 10, 2018 - The U.S. Navy is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the potential environmental impacts of its proposal to renew fueling operations for commercial and military purposes at Defense Fuel Support Point San Pedro.  A Public Scoping Period is currently underway.  For more information click HERE.

Ammunition Pier Replacement Project. September 28, 2018 - An Environmental Assessment (EA) is being prepared to analyze the potential environmental impacts of constructing a replacement ammunition pier and waterfront facilities at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach.  Public Scoping was completed in April 2016.  A Draft EA was released and public comment in April 2017.  A Revised Draft Environmental Assessment was released for public review and comment on September 28, 2018, and public comments are currently being accepted.  More information is available HERE.

Photovoltaic (Solar Power) Project at Seal Beach and Detachment Norco.  March 4, 2016 - A Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been released for the proposed Construction and Operation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems at Multiple Installations in California, including Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach and Detachment Norco.  More information can be found HERE

Photovoltaic (Solar) Power Project at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach.  February 19, 2016.   An Addendum has been prepared to the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed Construction and Operation of Solar Photovoltaic Systems at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California.  The addendum provides for the inclusion of battery storage systems in the project.  For more information click HERE.
