Founded in 1904, the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. The Society’s mission is to provide—in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps—financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, their eligible family members and survivors, when in need; and to manage funds to administer these programs.
The Guam NMCRS office is located on 39 Hibiscus Drive on the main base, near the Dental Clinic.

Visiting nurses make house calls and give instruction to mothers and newborns, homebound retirees, and widows/widowers.

Budget for Baby Class
It’s estimated to cost $184,000 to raise a child to the age of 17. Are you financially ready?
The Budget for Baby Class is held the third Wednesday of each month. Budget for Baby is a free class that provides financial guidance to new or expanding families. All are welcome to attend at any point during pregnancy. Whether it’s your first child or fourth, all ranks and spouses are invited to attend. Registration must be made in advance by calling 564-1880/79.
All who attend the Budget for Baby Class will receive a “Baby’s First Sea Bag” layette valued over $100 and a locally handmade blanket.
