NBG's Charles King Gym offers aerobic fitness equipment, weight rooms, male/female sauna rooms, basketball courts, indoor racquetball courts, a family fitness room, and a dance room. CKG also offers personal trainer services, as well as FREE group fitness classes such as Zumba, Yoga, and Cycling. There are also fitness facilities available at Naval Hospital, NCTS, and Naval Base Guam Ordnance Annex.

"We Will Never Forget" 9.11 Competitive Run

Join us in remembering the events of 9/11 by running in our "We Will Never Forget" competitive run. It's FREE to participate. Pre-register at the CKFC front desk or register on race day at the Sumay Cove Marina. For more information, call 685-2567.
 

Warrior 10
September 24 - 28, 2012; Various sign up times
Warrior 10 is 10 collective exercises that completes a circuit to demonstrate overall strength and endurance. Here are the guidelines: exerices can be done in any order, prizes will be awarded to the top three overall males and females, all participants will be times by a trainer or CKFC staff member after signing up for a specific time slot and participants will have 1 hour max to complete their circuit. The last day to register and compete is September 27, 2012 at the CKFC front desk. For more information, call 685-5267.
Here is a list of exercises to choose from:
 

  1. 100 Meter Row
  2. 1 Mile Run
  3. Pull Ups (30 reps; 30% weight assisted if needed)
  4. Romain Chair Knee Raises (70 reps)
  5. Shoulder Press (30 reps: 50 lbs for males / 25 lbs for females)
  6. Burpees (50)
  7. Bicep Curls (30 reps: 40 lbs for males / 20 lbs for females)
  8. Box Jumps (50 reps)
  9. Military Pushups (50 reps)
  10. 5 Minute Plank (15 second rest periods allowed at a time)
