ASAN, Guam (May 17, 2019) – The Navy will conduct training at the Dandan-Malojloj training site in Inarajan May 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:55 p.m.
The public should be advised that routine helicopter training often accompanied with the use of blanks can occur during training.
This type of training is designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training.
The Air Force will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be in a 3-nautical mile radius of the island. Farallon de Medinilla, located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, supports aircrew combat readiness training.
The Navy will conduct open-ocean exercises May 20 from 7-11 p.m. at coordinates 13° 26"N/145° 08"E and 13° 42"N/144° 36.
It is recommended the general public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories. It is also recommended the general public, commercial pilots, fishermen and marine tour operators stay clear from the area during the dates and times indicated.
