SANTA RITA, Guam (Sept. 6, 2019) – Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training from 11 a.m. to 11:55 p.m. Sept. 9-12 at the Dandan-Malojloj training sight in Inarajan.
HSC-25 will conduct joint training with the 644th Combat Communications Squadron from midnight to noon Sept. 9-16 in Radio Barrigada.
HSC-25 will also conduct training from 6:30-11:55 p.m. Sept. 11 in Radio Barrigada.
HSC-25 will conduct training from 7-11 p.m. Sept. 9 in Agat Bay.
These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed, if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training. The public should be advised that routine helicopter training, often accompanied with the use of blanks, can occur during these trainings.
It is recommended the general public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.
The U.S. Air Force will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla during the following dates and times:
· From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9
· From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 10
· From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11
· From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 12
· From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 13
This training supports aircrew combat readiness and is critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be within a 12-nautical-mile radius of the island, located in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
