Military to Conduct Training in Farallon de Medinilla, Warning Area 11, Warning Area 12, Warning Area 13, Warning Area 517, Open Ocean, Dandan-Malojloj, Radio Barrigada, Agat Bay, Outer Apra Harbor, Naval Magazine

ASAN, Guam (May 22, 2020) – The U.S. Air Force will conduct live-fire exercises in Farallon de Medinilla and Warning Area 13 May 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear 12 nautical miles around Farallon de Medinilla for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Warning Area 517 May 25-29 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Marine vessels are advised to be aware and remain clear of units training in the area and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct training in Warning Area 11, Warning Area 12, and Warning Area 517 May 25-29 from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the areas for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live-fire exercises in open ocean May 26-30 from 2-10 p.m. at the following coordinates: 13˚26''N/145˚08''E, 13˚42''N/144˚36''E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area by five nautical miles for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada May 26-30 from 2-10 p.m.

Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct training in the vicinity of Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor May 26-30 from 2-10 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live-fire exercises in Warning Area 11 May 27 from 7-11 a.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the exercise and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training operations at the Naval Magazine May 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
