Navy to Conduct Training in Dandan-Malojloj, Radio Barrigada, Agat Bay, Outer Apra Harbor, Open Ocean, Tinian North Field, Warning Area 517

ASAN, Guam (July 10, 2020) – The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada July 13-16 from 1-11:55 p.m.

Residents of surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct training in the vicinity of Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor July 13-16 from 1-11:55 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean July 13-16 from 1-11:55 p.m. at the following coordinates: 13˚26''N/145˚08''E, 13˚42''N/144˚36''E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Outer Apra Harbor July 14-17 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Tinian North Field July 14 from 2-8 p.m.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in open ocean July 15 from 3-11 p.m.

Marine vessels are advised to be aware of the training and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire training in Warning Area 517 July 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
