Military to Conduct Training in Open Ocean, Dandan-Malojloj, Radio Barrigada, Agat Bay, Outer Apra Harbor, Naval Magazine, Farallon de Medinilla, and Andersen Air Force Base

ASAN, Guam (July 24, 2020) – The U.S. Navy will conduct training in open ocean in the vicinity of Blue Hole July 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of the event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada July 27 from 1-11:55 p.m.

This training may be accompanied by the use of blank ammunition. Residents of surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean July 27-29 from 1-11:55 p.m. at the following coordinates: 13˚26''N/145˚08''E, 13˚42''N/144˚36''E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor July 27-29 from 1-11:55 p.m.

Residents of surrounding areas are requested to remain clear of units in the area and should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Naval Magazine July 28-30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Air Force will conduct live fire exercises in Warning Area 13 and Farallon de Medinilla on the following dates and times:

 July 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 July 29 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear 12 nautical miles around Farallon de Medinilla for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada July 28-29 from 1-11:55 p.m.

Residents of surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Air Force will conduct training on Andersen Air Force Base July 30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents of surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Air Force will conduct live fire exercises in Warning Area 13 and Farallon de Medinilla July 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
