Military to Conduct Training in Open Ocean, Pago Bay, Dandan-Malojloj, Radio Barrigada, Agat Bay, Apra Harbor, Pati Point, Orote Point, Jinapsan

ASAN, Guam (Nov. 25, 2020) – The military will conduct training in Pago Bay Nov. 30 to Dec. 1 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The general public is advised to be aware of military personnel training in the area.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 from noon to 11:55 p.m. at coordinates: 13˚26''N/145˚08''E, 13˚42''N/144˚36''E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area for the duration of these events and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada on the following dates and times:

·         Nov. 30 to Dec. 1 from noon to 11:55 p.m.

·         Dec. 2 from midnight to 1 a.m.

The use of blank ammunition is authorized for this training. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased activity.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 from noon to 11:55 p.m.

Blank ammunition will be used for this training. Mariners and residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased activity.

The military will conduct training in Pati Point Dec. 2-5 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The general public is advised to be aware of military personnel training in the area.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Outer Apra Harbor Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The general public is advised to remain clear of military personnel training in the area.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada Dec. 2-3 from noon to 11:55 p.m. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they hear or see increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Air Force will conduct training in Orote Point Dec. 3-4 from noon to 6 p.m. The general public is advised to remain clear of military personnel training in the area.

The military will conduct training in the vicinity of Jinapsan Dec. 6 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The general public is advised to be aware of military personnel training in the area.

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
