Navy to Conduct Training in Warning Area 11, Warning Area 12, Warning Area 13, Warning Area 517, Dandan-Malojloj, Radio Barrigada, Agat Bay, Outer Apra Harbor, Open Ocean, Farallon de Medinilla

ASAN, Guam (May 29, 2020) – The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Warning Area 11, Warning Area 12, and Warning Area 517 June 1-2 from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Marine vessels are requested to remain clear of the area for the duration of the event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Dandan-Malojloj and Radio Barrigada June 1-6 from 2-10 p.m.

Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity due to the training.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Agat Bay and Outer Apra Harbor June 1-6 from 2-10 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in open ocean June 1-6 from 2-10 p.m. at the following coordinates: 13˚26''N/145˚08''E, 13˚42''N/144˚36''E.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear of the area by five nautical miles for the duration of the event and to monitor the U.S. Coast Guard broadcast Notice to Mariners for advisories.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct live fire training in Warning Area 517 June 3-4 from 2-10 p.m.

The U.S. Navy will conduct training in Outer Apra Harbor June 4-6 from midnight to 11:55 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will also conduct exercises in the vicinity of Outer Apra Harbor June 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The general public is advised to be aware of the training and requested to remain clear of units in the area for the duration of this event.

The U.S. Navy will conduct live fire exercises in Warning Area 13 and Farallon de Medinilla June 5-7 from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Marine vessels are advised to remain clear 12 nautical miles around Farallon de Medinilla for the duration of this event.

These trainings support readiness and are critical to developing the skills needed to respond to operational missions throughout the region to ensure a stable, free, and open Indo-Pacific.
